A very important hole
Tekst
Thomas is an old man who lives in the United States. He is retired and works in his garden every day. His son, Michael, is a teenager. Michael is young and does not like work. He likes music, his computer, and his friends, but not the garden.
One Saturday morning, Thomas says, "Michael, let’s go to the garden. We need to plant vegetables." Michael says, "Why me? I don’t like vegetables. I want to play football with my friends." Thomas looks at him and says, "Vegetables are food. Food is life. Now, let’s go!"
When they arrive at the garden, Thomas points to a place and says, "I need you to dig a big hole here." Michael groans, "Why? What’s it for?" Thomas replies, "It’s very important. Just dig, and I’ll tell you later."
Michael spends the whole day digging. The sun is hot, the ground is hard, and his hands start to hurt. He complains, "This is taking forever! What is this hole for?" Thomas only says, "Keep digging, son. You’ll see."
By evening, Michael is exhausted. He looks at the large hole and asks, "Okay, I’m done. Now, what do we need it for?" Thomas smiles and says, "Nothing. I just wanted to keep you busy today."

By evening, Michael is exhausted. He looks at the large hole and asks, "Okay, I’m done. Now, what do we need it for?" Thomas smiles and says, "Nothing. I just wanted to keep you busy today."
Pewnego sobotniego poranka Thomas mówi: „Michael, chodźmy do ogrodu. Musimy zasadzić warzywa”. Michael mówi: „Dlaczego ja? Nie lubię warzyw. Chcę grać w piłkę nożną z moimi kolegami”. Thomas patrzy na niego i mówi: „Warzywa to jedzenie. Jedzenie to życie. A teraz chodźmy!”.
Narzeka: „To zajmuje wieczność! Po co ten dół?”. Thomas mówi tylko: „Kop dalej, synu. Zobaczysz”.
Do wieczora Michael jest wyczerpany. Patrzy na dużą dziurę i pyta: „Okej, skończyłem. A teraz, do czego nam to potrzebne?” Thomas uśmiecha się i mówi: „Do niczego. Po prostu chciałem cię czymś dzisiaj zająć”.
I’m leaving
Tekst
The next morning, Michael doesn’t say a word to his father. Thomas sits at the table, drinking coffee, and finally asks, "Michael, why are you so quiet today?" Michael looks at him and says, "Because of this damn hole."
Thomas is angry. "Watch your language, young man. This is my house, and here are some rules." Michael stands up; his face is red with anger. "Your house, your rules? Fine. I’m leaving!"
Thomas watches as Michael goes upstairs, grabs his backpack, and starts packing clothes into it. "You’re really leaving because of a hole?" Thomas says. Michael yells, "Yes! And you’ll never see me again!"
Michael leaves the house. But as he goes through the garden, he falls right into a hole. This is the same hole he spent all day digging.

Michael leaves the house. But as he goes through the garden, he falls right into a hole. This is the same hole he spent all day digging.
To mój dom i oto kilka zasad”.
To ta sama dziura, którą kopał cały dzień.
The Clown family
Tekst
The Clown family is not funny, but everyone thinks they are. People always want them to tell jokes or do something funny. This problem makes life hard for them. Tony Clown, the son, has a hard time at school. The other children say, "Tell us a joke!" every day. Tony hates it, but they don’t stop.
Robert Clown, the father, also has problems. Because of his name, the only job he could find was in a circus. He doesn’t like the circus. He wants to work in an office or a company, but people laugh when they see his name on a job application.
One day, the family decided they could not live like that anymore. They sat together at the table and thought about what to do. Then, Robert said, "Let’s change our name!" Everyone agreed. They started thinking of a new name.
The debate was long. Finally they picked “Boring"—so they don’t have to tell jokes anymore. But that was a mistake. From now on, no one wanted to talk to them, because everyone thought this family was boring.

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish
Tekst
My favorite movie is Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. This movie is about a cat who wears boots. Yes, it’s strange, but it's based on a very old Italian story. Never mind. The movie starts with the death of the main character. But don’t worry—cats have nine lives.
After some time, the cat wakes up in a doctor’s office. The doctor tells him it’s his last life and that it’s time to retire. “Retire? I am too good-looking to retire,” says the cat.
Later, the cat meets a mysterious wolf. The wolf is big and white. Eventually, we find out that the wolf is death itself. And when you meet death, it’s time to make some serious decisions. The cat decides to retire. But of course, this is just the beginning. The story continues from here—and it’s very interesting.
In this movie, I love the animation, the story, the world, and most importantly, the characters. The characters are funny, interesting, and very different from one another. I highly recommend watching this movie. It’s perfect for both kids and adults.

Mój ulubiony film to Kot w butach: Ostatnie życzenie.
A kiedy spotykasz śmierć, to czas, aby podjąć poważne decyzje.
